Adding Short Ship Reasons

1. When you first enter the Short Ship Reasons option a Select An Option window will appear with the following options:

• EXIT – Select EXIT to exit and return to the Shipping menu.
• ADD – Select ADD to add a new short ship reason.
• PRINT LIST – Select PRINT LIST to print a list of short ship reasons.
• A list of previously defined short ship reasons.
• OS – A predefined short ship reason used when a sales order line is marked as out of stock using the Out of Stock option.

Select ADD.

2. In the Short Ship Reason ID field enter a two digit numeric ID to be associated with the short ship reason. Press Enter.

3. In the Short Ship Description field, enter a description of the short ship reason. Press Enter.

4. Command options will appear allowing you to Add the short ship reason or Exit. Select Add.

The short ship reason has now been added.
